The Arrival of 20 Oz Gloves

16 oz gloves used to be the heaviest gloves available for those who enjoy boxing. There is a new arrival coming soon which will be 20 oz gloves. You read that correctly. The gloves will weigh in the neighborhood of 20 oz. For some, this just might be the novel new type of boxing glove they have been waiting for. However, most long time fans of boxing will probably agree that such gloves will be little more than an outright....well...waste. 20 ounces is VERY heavy and it would be quite difficult to hold them up for an extended period of time. Perhaps they are intended to be used as a cardio trainer. Either way, 16 oz can do the job fine. 20 oz just seems a little excessive for my tastes. Honestly, I don't think they will last very long in the market at all.
