Cardio
While most people use their boxing workout as a cardio workout designed to burn fat and build stamina, there is an inherent logic flaw with this: namely, if a person is not at peak condition for their boxing class, their performance will be slow and sluggish and they will not get as mush out of the class as they would be able to get out of it had they been in better shape. Because of this, it is advised that a small, supplemental cardio routine be taken during the week in order to help boost stamina. This could be anything from a one or two rounds of jumping rope or a short session of wind sprints. Regardless of what one chooses to utilize, the bottom line is that a decent supplemental cardio program is taken in order to boost lung capacity in order to get more out of the training sessions.
