A very quick note of the Chasse

Here is a quick note that acts as a follow up to the previous post. When you chamber a chasse, some beginners will exaggerate the chambering motions by swinging their leg and stirring the foot so as to properly chamber. This is an ok way to learn at the beginning, but it should be abandoned as the student gets more experience. Instead of stirring the foot, move the foot in a "cross shielding" motion where the center of gravity shifts and the knee rises up towards the shoulder. This cuts out extra motion and is much more economical
