Going Backwards

While there are those who disavow moving backwards when fighting, it is not always 100% accurate to say that you should NEVER move backwards. In reality, you can "jab out" when moving backwards or you can use a round kick when moving backwards. These are clearly NOT knockout moves, but they do provide adequate protection for those who are looking to avoid getting hit on a disengage. Remember, when you move backwards you are vulnerable so you should either move your head when moving backwards (kind of difficult) or you can jab or kick when moving back. The kicking part is somewhat difficult, but the jab aspect can be somewhat easier to get down. Just practice it and you will be A-ok
