Thai Round Kick...A Slight Tip

When it comes to martial arts it is usually not uncommon that a minor change in the way you do things can often lead to a major result. Remember, legitimate martial arts are based on physics and when minor modifications are made to body mechanics it usually simply alters the physics of body movement and creates a tremendous result. Case in point, if you are into Muay Thai you may wonder where some of the amazing power people develop comes from. Well, there are a number of reasons for the generation of power but one such reason would be from the pointing of the hips towards a target prior to releasing the kick. This would seem like a minor point - and to a certain degree it is - but it is a way of significantly increasing power in the actual kick.
