Jabbing to the body (safely)

In a follow up to my previous post about hitting the low cross to the body there must also be some effort presented in terms of throwing a low jab to the body. After all, when your jab to the body you are susceptible to an attack so you need to take a little care in how you approach this. Here are two things to do when jabbing to the body (safely)

- Zone your head to the outside so that you are not in knock out trajectory.
- Raise up the shoulder of the jabbing hand so as to avoid getting knocked out with an overhand
- Bonus third Point – Do not rise up immediately after hitting. You need to back out safely first.

While there other steps that can be tank these three provide a decent safety net so to speak to avoid injury or knockouts when you jab to the body
