Private Lessons Are Critically Important

Let me make this absolutely and prfectly clear: if you wish to become a talented boxer/kickboxer/martial artist, you are absolutely, positively going to have to take private lessons. The bottom line is that the close attention paid to a student while in a one on one session of training will lead to a improvement in skill and technique because the instructor can look at the finite problems you may be having and set you straight, so to speak.

This is not to say that there is no value in a group class, but group classes are better served as a means of exposure to the sport and getting a cardio exercise program. Again, there is nothing bad with any of this, per se. However, if you are looking for steady improvement as well as the development of a program that specifically caters to clearly defined needs and goals, private lessons are the way to go.

Yes, some may say that private lessons are cost prohibitive. However, one does not need to take private lessons every week. In fact, once a month or even once every couple months could greatly improve you game to a significant degree.

So, please, explore your options with private lessons as they greatly pay off in the end.

Plus, they are lots of fun
