Low Line

There is a term that is often used in combat sports to describe a one dimensional fighter. That term is "head hunter."

For the uninitiated, a head hunter is a striker who repeatedly and exclusively directs all his punches towards the head. Often, such a fighter swings wildly looking for a quick knockout. o put it mildly, this is a pretty awful way of fighting bcause it is so one dimensional.

To ignore the use of bodyshots is a huge mistake. Even if your goal is to score a head strike knockout, such a goal would probably be more readily served if the body shot was used to set up the head strike. Since many people can not adequately defend attacks from one low line to the high line, mixing and matching strikes from various lines can prove a successful and workable strategy.
