Proper Gloves

Ok...Now it is time to answer what is the proper type of glove to wear. As stated previously, I mentioned that cheap gloves are a one way ticket to injuring your hand. However, this does not mean you need to pay $167 for a pair of boxing gloves. Yes, there are brands that cost that much, but gloves that expensive are meant for pros or amateurs who are fighting in the ring. You don'e need to pay that much!

What you do needd to do is look for a $60 - $85 pair of gloves from established companies like Ringside, Everlast, Fairtex, Twins (my fav) et al. Again, many of these same companies offer $20 versions, but DON'T GO FOR IT! Stick with the more expensive models that are durable, comfortable and properly crafted. They will last a long time and they will keep you free of injury.
